A brief update

I noticed in passing that one of my pictures has been used by the Swiss blog Tages-Anzeiger. Thank you to them.

They’ve been good enough to give a picture credit, which doesn’t always happen. :(

Just to update people, I’ve been drawing very busily. It hasn’t translated into new posts because I’ve been redrawing old pictures, for example this, this and this. But there will be plenty of new stuff to come.

  1. dear Vesta, your work is clearly improving and quickly becoming a must! I would only suggest, for the future, to study the couples in real life situations and professions (as pilot and stewardess, policewoman and prostitute...) similar to the great "dictation"! congratulations

    1. Well done Jamie, you deserve such recognition for your ever improving artwork, especially the facial expressions which are very lifelike. Like the previous contributor, I enjoy the "real life" situations best, showing the pain in the man's face but his acceptence of inevitable female domination. Keep up the good work!

  2. Jamie,
I love your artwork, and I love the idea behind it, of a complete reversal of the roles of men and women. As you say in one of your blogs, life after the Genderquake will be just as banal as life before! Like the other posters, I'd love to see some pictures of professional situations - eg a hospital full of female doctors and male nurses (in very traditional uniforms...) And how about a 21st-century version of the WAG phenomenon - vacuous husbands and boyfriends of rich sports stars? Keep up the good work!

  3. Thank you Jamie, it's great to hear that there is even more of your wonderful work still to come. Thank you again.

  4. Thank you and you're all very welcome. Professional situations are definitely on my list and I like the WAG/bimbo scenario too. If only there were more hours in the day...
